FIBREGLASS POOLS
One piece.
Built in Melborune. Swimming in weeks, not months.
A fibreglass pool is made in a controlled factory, delivered in one piece and craned into place. That means a faster build, a smooth non-porous surface and far less maintenance than a concrete pool.

What is a fibreglass pool?
Glass fibre and resin, built up in layers on a mould.
Fibreglass is glass fibre locked in resin: strong, light and watertight. The same material used to build boats. Each shell is built in a factory, surface first, then layered for strength. It comes off the mould as one seamless piece, with a consistent finish every time. No rain delays, no on-site curing.
ChlorShield Gelcoat.
ChlorShield is included as part of the added value in every Summertime Pool build. Most builders offer premium gelcoat as a paid upgrade. We include it beause the surface of your pool is the one thing you can never change after installation.
100% Pure fibreglass without any fillers.
Most fibreglass pool manufacturers add fillers and additives to their fibreglass resin to save money. We don't. Because we're not chasing shortcuts - we're building for strength, beauty, and long-term performance.
50% More fibreglass thickness.
More strength. More protection. More longevity. More colour retention. We apply 50% more gelcoat than the average pool manufacturer - for a surface that truly lasts.
tHE BENEFITS
Why most Australians now choose fibreglass.
Faster to install.
The shell is made before your dig starts. On site, it's excavate, crane in, plumb and backfill. Concrete pools are built on site, typically taking two to three months or longer.
Less cleaning, fewer chemicals.
Gelcoat is non-porous, so algae has nowhere to grip. Less brushing and a more stable water balance than porous concrete.
No resurfacing.
Concrete pools typically need an acid wash or resurfacing every 7 to 15 years. A fibreglass surface doesn't, which takes a big cost out of owning a pool.
Smooth on skin and feet.
No rough render to graze knees and toes. Kids can sit, slide and play on bench seats and steps without the scrapes.
Often warmer water.
Owners who've had both often report fibreglass pools warm up faster and hold heat longer. Results depend on your site, sun and heating.
Strong, with some give.
A quality composite shell is strong but slightly flexible, so it handles normal ground movement better than rigid render. Backed by a 30-year structural warranty.
The honest comparison.
Both can last decades when looked after.
The difference is how long they take, what they cost to own, and how much work they ask of you.
